AFL-CIO Head vs. Andrew Breitbart On Tea Party Racism, Alleged Labor Attacks

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka and conservative Web site head Andrew Breitbart exchanged accusations of protest racism on Wednesday -- from the tea party movement and anti-tea party labor unions, respectively.

During a conference at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, Breitbart rose from the audience in a question-and-answer session following Trumka's address. Apparently slighted by Trumka's allusion to the racist epithets shouted by tea party protesters during the health care debate, Breitbart claimed he had seen evidence of racism only from anti-tea party protesters affiliated with the Service Employees International Union, or SEIU.
