During the month of March women from the past to the present are celebrated throughout the nation for their contributions in fighting the good fight, educating others and more. I decided that I wanted to highlight African American women authors who are currently changing the landscape of how we are viewed during the current times. Many of these women writers inspire me to great length. Therefore, I wanted to celebrate them and their literary achievements for Women’s History Month.
