Agent Provocateur Sues Kimberley London For Copycat Bikini (PHOTOS)

Should Agent Provocateur Sue Over This Swimsuit?

Somebody designed a lower-priced version of Agent Provocateur's popular Mazzy bikini... and the luxury lingerie brand isn't happy.

Kimberley London, the line designed by Kimberley Garner of "Made In Chelsea" fame, is offering a strappy, bondage-inspired two-piece called the Monaco that certainly does look familiar. Now Agent Provocateur is suing Kimberley Garner, the label's designer, "to protect our intellectual property, our designers and our business," according to a statement Agent Provocateur's CEO gave the Telegraph.

The lawsuit will surely hit Garner hard, as the young designer is just getting her footing in the fashion industry. Garner confirmed to UK's Metro that she will defend her design in court.

At least Kimberley London's version is a bargain compared to Agent Provocateur's. Kimberley is charging £85, or roughly $132, for the Monaco suit, while the two pieces of the Mazzy bikini retail for a combined $390. We'd venture a guess that Agent Provocateur should be worried, then -- who wouldn't want to save $260 on a swimsuit?

Compare the déjà-vu-inducing designs below. Do you think Agent Provocateur has a case? And can you imagine the tan lines these suits produce?
