'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Ratings Are Marvelous, 'Dads' Falls

'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Smashes Ratings

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was a Hulk in the ratings on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The new ABC series following Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson and his new team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had 11.9 million viewers and a 4.6 rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

On CBS at 8 p.m. ET, the season premiere of "NCIS" had 19.5 million viewers and a 3.4 rating. Fox's second outing of "Dads" dropped to 3.7 million viewers and a 1.5 rating while NBC's "The Voice" had 14.1 million viewers and a 4.6 rating.

At 8:30 p.m., "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" fell to 4 million viewers and a 1.8 rating.

ABC's new comedies "The Goldbergs" and "Trophy Wife" did OK. "The Goldbergs" had 9.1 million viewers and a 3.2 rating at 9 p.m. ET and "Trophy Wife" had 6.6 million viewers and a 2.3 rating at 9:30 p.m. ET. On CBS, "NCIS: LA" had 16.2 million viewers and a 3.0 rating. Fox's "New Girl" had 4.1 million viewers and a 2.1 rating and "The Mindy Project" had 3 million viewers and a 1.5 rating.

At 10 p.m. ET, the series premiere of "Lucky 7" crashed and burned with 4.6 million viewers and a 1.3 rating. "Person of Interest" had 12.3 million viewers and a 2.3 rating and the season premiere of "Chicago Fire" had 9.3 million viewers and a 2.8 rating.
