Last week, Japan Airlines announced it would serve KFC on its flights from Tokyo's Narita Airport to New York, San Diego, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, London, Frankfurt and Paris. Now, we know how those meals will look.
The meal, dubbed "Air Kentucky," includes a drumstick, chicken breast, biscuit-like "flat bread" and coleslaw.
In-flight meals aren't exactly known for their sophistication, but doesn't KFC's new airline offering look, well... a little sad? The two pieces of chicken depicted in the promotional image seem pitifully small -- at least by American standards -- and the look of the packaging feels at odds with KFC's other advertising, which usually bursts with high-contrast color.
"Air Kentucky?" made its debut December 1 and will be served through February 28.
