Al Roker, Matt Lauer's Awkward Moment On 'Today' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Did Al Roker Just Go There?

Did Al Roker really just go there?

On Thursday's "Today" show, the NBC weatherman made a very intriguing remark during an interview with the U.S. women's Olympic rowing team.

Lauer noted that the team had a tradition of throwing a teammate into the water after a big win. "The tradition here in New York is that you throw her in the Hudson River," Lauer joked.

After Lauer wrapped up the interview, Roker interjected with a rather awkward addition. Speaking of his "Today" show team, Roker said, "Which is different than in our tradition, which is to throw one of us under the bus. But that's another story." He then launched into the weather report.

Ouch! Could he be talking about a certain situation with a former co-host? Or is something else going on? Only Roker knows for sure.
