Alabama Shakes' lead singer Brittany Howard was reportedly robbed at gunpoint this weekend.

Howard, who also performs with a band named Thunderbitch, was robbed after a Thunderbitch show, according to reports.

Serpents and Snakes Records GM Seth Riddle told Nashville Scene that Howard and members of the band Clear Plastic Masks were held up outside of a friend's Nashville home.

Nashville Scene reports that "two hoodie-clad, 'skinny little' teenage boys" confronted the group at gunpoint. According to NS, "no one was injured, and the assailants got away with nothing more than a few dozen dollars in cash and some cellphones."

Fresh off their Grammy nominations, the members of Alabama Shakes have started to hit their stride this year. The band was nominated for Best New Artist, as well as Best Rock Performance for the song, "Hold On." Alabama Shakes' first studio album, "Boys & Girls" debuted this April to strong chart performance and positive critical reception.
