Broadway's "Hamilton" might be the hottest ticket in town, but it's the pre-show sidewalk performance that's got our attention.
Every time "Hamilton" has two shows in one day, or on some special occasions, musical maestro Lin-Manuel Miranda treats fans, hoping to snag a lottery ticket for ten big ones (Get it? Alexander Hamilton is on the ten-dollar bill), to #Ham4Ham, a musical theatre geek's fever dream. Sometimes Miranda even brings out a special guest.
Enter the voice of your childhood: Lea Salonga.
Salonga, of course, was the singing voice of Jasmine from "Aladdin" and currently stars in the musical "Allegiance," which opened this week.
Miranda and Salonga took fans on a magical musical carpet ride when they performed a whole new rendition of "A Whole New World" outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York on Wednesday.
Check out the musical goodness above.
If you are craving some more of what "Hamilton" has to offer and you don't have a cool couple hundred to shell out for an orchestra ticket, watch this one fan's epic Dubsmash of all 46 tracks off of the "Hamilton" soundtrack.
We're still laughing.
