Alanis Morissette Gives 'Ironic' A Modern Update On 'Late Late Show'

"It's a traffic jam when you tried to use Waze."

Alanis Morissette sang a contemporary update of her iconic song "Ironic" alongside James Corden Monday night on "The Late Late Show."

"It's like swiping left on your future soulmate / It's a Snapchat that you wish you had saved / It's a funny tweet that nobody faves / And who would've thought, it figures."

Besides swapping out '90s problems for #appstruggles, the new version pokes fun at the original song's misuse of irony that people have been going on about for decades, and also calls out the lack of female late-night hosts. (We love you, Alanis!)

The singer has been making press rounds celebrating the 20th anniversary of her hit album "Jagged Little Pill," otherwise known as the only album that matters.

Last week, she appeared on "The Tonight Show," and sang a chicken-cluck version of "Ironic" with Jimmy Fallon and Meghan Trainor.

The song really holds up in any form.
