Alaska Releases Video For 'Nails'

WATCH: One Of Our Favorite 'Drag Race' Queens Has A New Video

Let's face it: Alaska Thunderfuck is one of the best things to come out of "RuPaul's Drag Race," and every video she releases seems to confirm this more and more.

This galactic drag queen just dropped this video for her latest single called "Nails," and it's both nuanced and wonderfully weird in a way that only Alaska can pull off. She's really taken the whole space alien framework for her drag and ran with it -- and it's clearly working.

"I've been teasing this song in various cities in the USA and Europe, and the demand for this video and this single to be released has been overwhelming," Alaska told The Huffington Post. "I get tweets every day asking when it's coming -- so instead of saying 'soon' I can now say... 'today -- on my Mom's birthday.' The first time I wore nails I realized how empowering it is to accessorize your fingers, because the hands are such an expressive and often overlooked tool in the world of stage performance. So I'm glad I can share this piece of advice with the drag world, and also tell a little bit of the Alaska origin story through this video."

The fact that "Nails" dropped on the same day as Alaska's latest video with Willam and Courtney Act seems to confirm -- thank God -- that these three queens aren't trying to recreate DWV. However, we do love this threesome together in their latest American Apparel campaign. Check it out here.
