Sara Bareilles' "The Blessed Unrest," Daft Punk's "Random Access Memories," Kendrick Lamar's "Good Kid m.A.A.d. City," Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist" and Taylor Swift's "Red" were nominated for the 56th Annual Grammys Album Of The Year during Friday's "The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!!"

The Album Of The Year Grammy, the most prestigious award category, is presented to "honor artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position."

Last year, the trophy was awarded to Mumford & Sons for their album "Babel," beating out contenders such as The Black Keys' "El Camino" and fun.'s "Some Nights."
