Alec Baldwin's Alleged Stalker, Genevieve Sabourin, Arrested After Flying From Montreal To NYC

Canadian Actress Arrested For Allegedly Stalking Alec Baldwin

A Canadian woman was arrested on Sunday for allegedly stalking actor Alec Baldwin outside his Manhattan apartment.

The New York Post reports that Genevieve Sabourin, a 40-year old actress, had also turned up at the actor's Hamptons home on March 31, the same weekend Baldwin proposed to girlfriend Hilaria Thomas.

Baldwin tipped off police by filing an official complaint, but the accused stalker managed to trail him back to his Manhattan home.

Sabourin allegedly sent him crazed emails and text messages declaring her love for him, even wanting to have his children.

Baldwin reportedly met Sabourin in 2002 filming “The Adventures of Pluto Nash," the same year he and actress Kim Basinger officially divorced.

The arrest follows happier news for the "30 Rock" actor and occasional mayoral hopeful, who after a year of courtship confirmed his engagement to 28-year old Thomas last Monday.

Upon the media hoopla over the engagement and curiosity over Thomas's ring, Baldwin blasted the press, specifically The Daily News, for barging in on one of Thomas's yoga classes in order to take a snapshot of the ring.
