A 'Girls' Star Heads To 'SVU'

One of the stars of HBO's "Girls" is heading to a different New York-set series this fall. Alex Karpovsky, who plays Ray on the hipster hit, will guest star on "Law & Order: SVU" for its milestone 300th episode, TVLine reports.

In addition to Karpovsky, Tom Sizemore and Hamash Linklater will make appearances on NBC procedural's upcoming milestone installment. In the Season 14 episode "Manhattan Vigil," which includes nods to the series' pilot, Karpovsky plays an auxiliary police officer, Linklater is a part of a successful real estate family whose son goes missing, and Sizemore is employed by Linklater's character's family.

Tune in to see Karpovsky, Sizemore and Linklater on "Law & Order: SVU's" 300th episode, airing Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

In more casting news ...

Diane Kruger moves to the small screen.
The actress nabbed the female lead in FX's drama pilot "The Bridge," adapted from the Scandinavian series "i Bron." It follows two detectives from the United States and Mexico working to track down a serial killer operating on both sides of the border. Kruger will play El Paso Police Homicide Detective Sonya North, while the role of her partner, Marco Ruiz, is still being cast. [TVLine]

Tom DeKay is heading to "Body of Proof." The "White Collar" star will spar with Lucifer when he guest stars in an exorcism-themed episode of the ABC procedural as a very religious father whose teenage daughter dies. [TVLine]

A "West Wing" alum will appear on "CSI: NY." "Sons of Anarchy's" Niko Nicotera and "The West Wing's" Kathleen York will guest star on a sweeps episode of the CBS drama about a young woman named Ashley who drowns in Central Park in a ball gown. York will play Krista, the wealthy mother of Ashley's boyfriend (Alex Ashbaugh), who becomes a suspect. The character will then point the finger at Ashley's ex-boyfriend (Nicotera). [TV Guide]

Three "Supernatural" alumni join the "Revolution." Mark Pellegrino, Todd Stashwick and Colin Ford are joining their former boss Eric Kripke on his new NBC thriller. Pellegrino will play a militia officer in Episode 3, Stashwick will portray a drug lord in Episode 6 and Ford will guest star in Episode 7 as the brother of a boy who's been taken by the militia. "Magic City" gets another addition.In Season 2 of the Starz drama, "Twin Peaks'" alum Sherilyn Fenn will play the tough Madame Renee, a former call-girl who runs a brothel backed by Ben Diamond (Danny Huston). [The Hollywood Reporter]
