Alex Morgan, Soccer's New Star, On Her First Date, Favorite Actor Couple And First Album Bought

Soccer Star Alex Morgan Scores On Our Pop Culture Quiz

With her timely goals and graceful athleticism, Alex Morgan had the coming-out party of a lifetime at this summer's Women's World Cup in Germany. Just 22 years old, she provided a youthful exuberance to a team of elder stateswomen. While her goal against Japan wasn't the game-winner it originally appeared to be, her celebrity has only grown.

Morgan recently teamed up with Bank of America in its "Let's Run Together" campaign alongside teammates Abby Wambach and Hope Solo. Fans have flocked to her Twitter feed, and she has received an influx of passionate marriage proposals on Facebook.

While the busy Morgan was prepping for the Oct. 9 Chicago Marathon and the Olympics next summer, she took our pop culture quiz. As always, she shot ... and scored (sorry, I had to!).

What was the first album you bought?

Backstreet Boys.

What was the last song you downloaded?

I have to look. It was Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera: "Moves like Jagger."

If you were stranded on an island with one DVD, what would it be?

Man, this is hard, but I'm just going to say "Pirates of the Caribbean," the series, all in one.

What was the first R-rated movie you saw?

Probably "Jackass," and we got kicked out because I was too young.

What is your favorite TV show?

"Modern Family." I love Sofia Vergara, [which] is what I call her because that’s her real name, but I don't know her name in the show.

Who is your favorite actor couple?

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz. I love their movies. Every one they do is amazing.

What was your first cultural experience?

Traveling to ... England with the [under-20] national team was a big cultural experience for me. Even though it was England, it was different.

What are your feelings about reality TV?

I'm a secretive, closet fan. I think that reality TV is absolutely ridiculous, but it's also hilarious, so I can't turn it off. I used to watch ["Jersey Shore"] but not anymore, no time in my life anymore. One of my best friends was on ["Real Housewives"] but I've never watched it.

What actress would you most want to play you in a biopic?

I have a lot of favorite actresses, but a lot of people say I look like Sophia Bush. I don't really watch her too much. She's on "One Tree Hill."

What was your first movie date?

Honestly, I was too concerned with my sweaty hands. When you're really young and you're holding someone's hand and your hand gets sweaty.
