What's the easiest way to move furniture out of a Manhattan apartment? Ask Alicia Keys. The singer has apparently hired a crane to remove her stuff from the Soho penthouse she shares with husband Swizz Beatz, reports TMZ. The two purchased this condo from Lenny Kravitz in 2010, but The New York Post says the couple is crossing the Hudson River to move into Eddie Murphy's former Englewood, New Jersey mansion.
Keys is not the only celeb that has employed these extreme logistics to relocate furniture. Our favorite designer from 'Million Dollar Decorators,' Martyn Lawrence Bullard, also used heavy machinery to lower a 3,000 pound marble table into Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon's NYC home on the show's second season premiere.
And model Lara Bingle had several large scale pieces delivered by crane to her sixth floor apartment, Australian news outlet News.com reported, while she was seen laughing at the antics from her balcony.
