Watch Alicia Vikander Shred A Lip Sync Talent Show At Age 8

Her star quality came out back then, too

You have to start somewhere.

Alicia Vikander, winner of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in "The Danish Girl," savored a taste of show business at age 8.

Vikander, 27, lip-synced a song called "Du måste finnas" ("You Have to Be There") for a televised Swedish talent show in 1997, The Local pointed out.

As she did during the 88th Academy Awards, Vikander, who already had appeared in an opera house production at age 7, triumphed on the TV show as well.

She also proved to be a prophet. Asked by the host what she wants to do for a living, she answered, "Actor."

Yep, she hit the mark on that one.
