'Community' Season 4: Alison Brie Talks Dan Harmon

Alison Brie: Next Season Of 'Community' Will Be 'Interesting'

The new "Community" showrunners have a tough act to follow.

In an interview with EW, Alison Brie (Annie) admitted she has no idea what to expect from the upcoming season of the NBC comedy. "My motto going into Season 4 is, 'Well, this should be interesting,'" Brie said.

As for Dan Harmon's firing in May, Brie says she still can't imagine the series without him.

"There’s no question that the show will be different," she said. "Dan Harmon was so instrumental in everything that went on with the show, and was the cause of most of the relentless innovation ... Hopefully we’ll maintain the essence of what makes this show great."

"We're all very grateful to him, because he really changed our lives and our careers," Jacobs told Vulture. "So we have an infinite amount of gratitude towards him and his beautiful writing and his ambition."

The full cast of "Community"
will return to NBC in its new Friday timeslot on Fri., Oct. 19 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
