Amanda Bynes has allegedly moved out of her New York City apartment after her landlord reportedly threatened eviction because her weed smoking was a nuisance to the building.

TMZ reports that Bynes moved out of her NYC apartment to avoid eviction on Friday after allegedly getting a letter from management saying her lease would be terminated because of her marijuana smoking.

Management had received several complaints about smoke coming from the "Easy A" actress' apartment "morning, noon and night," and she had reportedly been spotted smoking pot in the hallways, according to TMZ. The residence is a non-smoking building.

Back in September, Bynes made the decision to move to New York from Los Angeles to start "her new life as a fashion designer," RadarOnline previously reported. She allegedly felt she could "live a more normal life on the East Coast" without having to worry about the paparazzi.

The former child star was spotted hitting the NYC club scene in December looking sad and alone, according to the New York Post. “She seemed sad and empty-eyed,” a source said of Bynes' behavior. “She kept looking around like she wanted someone to talk to her.”

Another clubber saw Bynes “by herself, just walking around bumping into people," a source told the Post. "She tapped a girl on the shoulder and asked to take a picture of her outfit. The girl recognized her and asked for a picture in return. But Amanda said that wasn’t her name and told her ‘no photos.’”

The 26-year-old's decision to head east was preceded by multiple discretions, including a DUI, driving with a suspended license and smoking a "drug pipe" in her BMW.

Bynes' recent behavior has been no less unusual.

On New Year's, Bynes shared a photo of just her breasts on Instagram. A few weeks later, she posted a photo of what appeared to be a new cheek piercing.
