Salvador Dalí's Muse In Head-To-Toe Silk

Amanda Lear, the French singer, actress and model has a resumé that would make anyone quiver with admiration. She was the muse to one of the most famous artists of all time, Salvador Dalí, has been shot by famed lensman Helmut Newton, modelled for Yves Saint Laurent, appeared in Vogue and can count members of The Beatles as personal friends -- and those are just the highlights. Celebrated as one of the top models of the 1960s, a party girl of the 1970s and a leading media personality of the 1980s, Lear has made her mark just about everywhere.

This photograph, taken in 1968, shows the fashion model in an outfit by British designer Ossie Clark. Her all-silk look is the perfect way to transition into the cooler fall season (and it could double as pajamas in a pinch!). We love the plunging neckline and the square toe is an interesting take on a pair of classic pumps.
