Season 23 of "The Amazing Race" wrapped with a whimper and plenty of frustration. While Jason and Amy weren't the most compelling couple on the race, they may have been the most stable. They were certainly the most positive and supportive throughout their time on the show. After six second-place finishes, the couple picked things up toward the end of the Race, and pulled off a million-dollar victory.
“You know, it couldn’t have worked out any better," Jason said. "We’re taking it home to Boston. Boston strong.”
Entertainment Weekly's Annie Barrett congratulated the pair, saying they deserved the win. HitFix's Daniel Feinberg concurred. "Jason & Amy reached Phil Keoghan at the Pit Stop first and Amy was probably one of the giddiest winners I can remember," he wrote. "She was smart, tough and her only weakness really was her generosity to Nicole. And, really, Jason wasn't all that bad. I just can't say that I'd cheer hard for him.”
"The Amazing Race" Season 24 promises to be an all-star season, returning to CBS in 2014.
