Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have always tried to keep their relationship under wraps. But the actress finally opened up a little bit about her beau in Flare's September 2013 issue.

She's very concerned with keeping their relationship private and when asked about it said, "It’s not part of my professional life. I want to be an artist. I don’t want to be a celebrity. You can find pictures of me [on the Internet] pumping gas, picking up dry cleaning, walking my dog, but nowhere are you going to find pictures of me hanging around at some nightclub…Can you ever imagine yourself in a situation like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie or Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, where the world feels like they have a stake in your private life? I would never want it."

Heard, 27, first met Depp, 50, on the set of "Rum Diary" in 2009. This is the first time Heard has (sort of) addressed their relationship but the couple were seen holding hands in Moscow, where Depp was promoting "The Lone Ranger," and in Tokyo with Depp's children.

Prior to his relationship with Heard, Depp had been attached to Vanessa Paradis for 14 years and the couple had two children, Lily-Rose, 14, and Jack, 11.
