After the nomination of Governor Sarah Palin as the Republican VP candidate, Delphine Hirsh, a Los-Angeles based author and mother of two, wanted to respond.
Feeling that the Palin nomination was somewhat strategic to rally the American mom vote, Delphine wanted to speak for moms across the country who didn't want to see a VP Palin.
Delphine wanted to create a video. She started making short interview clips of herself and her friends talking about the reality of a VP Palin. Soon word of the project spread, and suddenly moms from all across the country whom Delphine had never met began to submit their own clips. The website, http://www.votermoms.com, features video clips of over 60 moms who wanted to get their voices heard.

With the election only a few days away, Delphine is proud of what she and the other 60 moms were able to accomplish. She was able to get her message out to thousands of other voting American Moms -- and she's confident it's made a real difference. "I hope that other moms -- moderate moms who are on the fence about Governor Palin -- might consider what we're saying." Hirsh concluded. "Governor Palin would like you to believe that it's just those elitists who don't like her and we wanted to respectfully say: it's regular folks too and for lots of good reason."
