Meet Cory Hardrict. Last year, the actor appeared alongside Bradley Cooper as Navy Seal Deryck "D" Dandridge in American Sniper. And this month Hardrict stars as a guy who sacrifices his basketball dreams in the film Brotherly Love, which was produced by Queen Latifah's company Flavor Unit.

"It takes you back to those old-school movies like Boyz n the Hood, which made an impact on our culture," says the actor who has been married to actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict since 2008. Their son Cree will be 4 in June. "She believed in me from day one and has been very supportive throughout my ups and downs."

Lately, things are mostly up for Hardrict, who recently wrapped filming of the sci-fi thriller Spectral, which will be in theaters in 2016. And he just began shooting the murder mystery November Criminals alongside Chloe Moretz, Ansel Elgort and Catherine Keener.

Hardrict shared details about his life and work, including how he honors his late mother, falling in love with Mowry and the secret to his killer mac and cheese. Read the full story here at Parade.com.
