Here at HuffPost Travel, we believe in the importance of traveling as a family. We've spent a lot of time looking at what's important to families on the go, like the world's best hotels for families, awesome hotel amenities kids will love, and how to snag seats together on a flight when you're traveling as a group, just to name a few.
So, when we heard about FamilyFun magazine's 2013 travel awards, we knew we had to share the results. To compile its lists of destinations that matter to families, FamilyFun surveyed 2,000 moms with children ages 3 to 12 to rate 360 destinations.
