It’s pumpkin season for the United States and I’ve got the go-to list of farms to head out to across the nation this fall.

When the trees are full of reds and yellows and the frost begins to nibble the air, it’s time to grab your coat and boots (maybe bring an extra pair) and head over to one of these pumpkin patches for some family fun that will keep everyone active and well-fed till the days end:

Craven Farm in Snohomish, WA

Craven Farm has been in Mark’s family since 1949 that includes a 20-acre pumpkin patch with over 30 varieties to choose form. Spend the day hanging with Frozen’s Anna and Elsa and find your way through the 15-acre Alice in Pumpkinland corn maze. Don’t forget to stop and play a game of Human Foosball and end your day at their Harvest Market and take home some crisp apples and other seasonal fruits.

Roloff Farms in Helvetia, OR

30 miles west of Portland you will find Roloff Farms, made famous by TLC’s “Little People, Big World” reality series. Every October the farm opens to the public where you can enjoy wagon tours, pony rides, and face painting. On your way out stop by the Gift Barn to purchase a bottle of their delicious Roloff Pumpkin Salsa.

Walter’s Pumpkin Patch in Burns, KS

Wish you could partake in a Pumpkin Cannon and enjoy a run in a Human Gerbil Wheel? Well Walter’s Farm is the place for you this fall. A Flashlight Maze, Haunted Cannery, Pedal Boats, Zip-lines, and Gem Mining will keep every single member of your family occupied with these extremely fun activities.

The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, NY

Listed as number five of the Top 10 Best Pumpkin Patches in America, be sure The Great Pumpkin Farm is on your itinerary this fall. From their Boo Barn (you MUST see their Vortex Tunnel) to their Zombie Train (spooky fun through the woods) this pumpkin farm offers a variety of activities for every age.

Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm in Crest Hill, IL

With 30 unlimited attractions and a famous 15-acre corn maze, it’s easy to see why Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm is dubbed the number two pumpkin patch to visit by Travel Channel. This year, their corn maze theme is “Remembrance of 9/11”.

Shady Brook Farms in Yardley, PA

While you’re out picking your pumpkins, stop and enjoy the Giant Peanut’s themed Corn Maze this year at Shady Brook Farm. After hours, stay for the Alien 3-D Encounter and the Hayride of Horror to get your scare on this Halloween season.
