'America's Got Talent': Judges' Favorites Tim Hockenberry And Turf Face Off During Elimination (VIDEO)

'AGT': Did One Of The Judges' Favorites Get Cut?

It was up to America again, as the judges waited anxiously to find out which four acts from this latest quarter-final round would move on to the semi-finals of "America's Got Talent" (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on NBC). Nick Cannon had a little bit of fun with them along the way, as well as the audience.

He brought out fan favorites Tim Hockenberry and Turf to stand side-by-side on the stage. The singer and dancer were also among the judges' favorites, so they were horrified at the prospect of one of them going home. After all, whenever two acts are brought out like this, one of them is getting cut. Right?

Not so fast.

Cannon pulled a fast one on everyone, shouting with glee that both acts had moved forward. Howie Mandel admitted he would have saved one of the acts if they hadn't gone through.

Joining them in the next round were gymnasts Donovan and Rebecca, and comedian Tom Cotter. It seems like the right acts made it through, according to the New Jersey Star Ledger.

"America's Got Talent" continues Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
