Amy Brenneman Says Justin Theroux Is 'Super Happy And Super Relieved' After Marrying Jennifer Aniston

Theroux told his "The Leftovers" co-star the ceremony "went off without a hitch."

Amy Brenneman and Justin Theroux are reunited in the second season of "The Leftovers," which airs Sundays on HBO, and the actress told HuffPost Live she noticed a spring in her co-star's step after his secretive marriage to Jennifer Aniston in August.

"I worked with him I think the week after his wedding, and he was really happy," Brenneman said. "Super happy. And super relieved, which is a word I think he used as well. I think these poor people are hounded, so he said, 'It was exactly what we wanted. It went off without a hitch. It was fun.'"

The couple managed to keep their ceremony private despite immense tabloid interest and a star-studded guest list that included Ellen DeGeneres, Howard Stern and Chelsea Handler. Brenneman said she was impressed at how they pulled it off.

"You know what I think the secret is? Do it on a Wednesday," she said. "I was like, 'A Wednesday? That is really cool! Don't do that weekend stuff.'"
