Amy Poehler Best Actress TV Comedy Golden Globes 2014

And The Award For Best Actress In A TV Comedy Goes To ...

Amy Poehler took home the award for her role as Leslie Knope in NBC's "Parks And Recreation." This is her third nomination for the same role.

"Parks And Recreation" follows Poehler's overachieving but lovable small-town politician, Knope, and her delightful gang of Parks and Recreation department employees played by Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Retta, Chris Pratt and Jim O'Heir. Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe and Adam Scott also star, though Jones and Lowe will leave Pawnee this year. "Parks And Recreation" was also nominated for a Golden Globe this year for Best TV Series - Musical or Comedy.

Poehler beat out Zooey Deschanel ("New Girl"), Lena Dunham ("Girls"), Julia Louis-Dreyfus ("Veep") and Edie Falco ("Nurse Jackie"). She accepted the award immediately after faking a make-out with Bono in the audience.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 71st annual Golden Globes, which were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. Last year, Lena Dunham won the Golden Globe for her role as Hannah Horvath in HBO's "Girls."
