Looks like Amy Schumer and Selena Gomez both got the red memo Monday night.
The two ladies attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards looking like total ~twinsies~ in short red dresses. Gomez's patent leather frock featured a sheer neckline and sleeves, along with a white collar, while the more simple design Schumer wore featured bell sleeves.
Now, normally, showing up to the party wearing (almost) the same thing as someone else is seen as a faux pas, but the two ladies didn't seem to mind at all. Instead, they posed for photos together, laughing, as if they'd planned the whole thing. (Maybe they did.)
The pair first met at the Hollywood Film Awards earlier this month, where Gomez gushed about the comedian and presented her with the comedy award.
"I talk about her obsessively," Gomez told the crowd about Schumer. "I've tweeted her often. I try to impersonate her and it doesn't really work." She added, "I actually just met her so, basically, what I'm saying is I'm really happy that clearly Jennifer Lawrence wasn't able to do this tonight because I love you."
The former Disney star then shared a photo from the event on Instagram with the simple caption, "She's just awesome."
If this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship, we're totally on board.
