Amy Winehouse Death: Remembering The Singer's Style (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: A Look Back At Amy Winehouse's Style Legacy

Amy Winehouse's death one year ago on July 23rd not only left a huge void in the music realm but also in the fashion world. Ever since her second album "Back To Black" skyrocketed up the charts in 2006, the soulful crooner's exaggerated beehive and cat eyeliner became her trademark and instantly cemented her place as a style icon.

Amy's unique retro-prep fusion made her the toast of the fashion crowd -- Karl Lagerfeld even deemed her "the new Brigitte" for her teased hairstyle, so it wasn't long before other singers took a few style tips from the British soul singer. And even though Amy's last collection for Fred Perry launched last year, we're sure we'll continue to see her style influence pop up in both the music and fashion scenes (but hopefully in ways that will upset her family less than Jean Paul Gaultier's tribute did).

To mark the one year anniversary of Amy Winehouse's death, we take a look back at the singer's influential style and the fellow musicians she inspired.
