Amy Winehouse Death: Blake Fielder Civil Singer Left Out Of Will

Amy Winehouse's 'Soul Mate' Ex-Husband Left Out Of Singer's Will

It's no secret that Amy Winehouse and ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil shared a simultaneously passionate and self-destructive relationship--so much so that Fielder-Civil's mother fears her son, "wracked with guilt" over Winehouse's death, will "kill himself."

Even Fielder-Civil's current girlfriend--and mother of his newborn son--Sarah Asprin, acknowledges as much, telling the UK's The Sun this week: "I saw him and Amy together and I know they were really ... soul mates..."

But on Tuesday, details emerged concerning the distribution of Winehouse's financial assets that may call into question the depth of Winehouse and Fielder-Civil's relationship. Specifically this one: Fielder-Civil's name does not appear once in Winehouse's £10 million will.

Indeed, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday that Winehouse assembled her financial affairs after her messy divorce from Fielder-Civil in 2009 and took steps to ensure her ex was not included as a beneficiary. Furthermore, according to a close friend, "Around the time of the divorce, all of Amy’s finances were sorted out-- and Blake can’t get his hands on any of it."

Though her fortune is valued at an estimated £10 million, the posthumous success of her hit album "Back To Black" is sure to expand Winehouse's net worth substantially. The 2008 record is currently topping iTunes charts in 16 countries and 20,000 to 25,000 copies are expected to sell in the US this week alone.

The couple shared a volatile, drug-fueled relationship--one Fielder-Civil takes responsibility for fostering. He admittedly introduced Winehouse to the drug and self-harming behaviors that may have led to her untimely death. In 2008, he told News of the World, "I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her. I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty."

Winehouse will be cremated following a Jewish burial service that was held Tuesday.
