Dear Donald,

It’s been a while. Remember me? It’s Jesus, I’m your boss, well technically your spiritual boss; the voters are your other bosses. I know when you read this you may want to come after me with one of your snarky little nick names like, “Holier than thou Jesus,” but I suggest you don't go there. I am actually here to help you. Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

I’d come back in person to chat with you, but quite frankly with your travel ban and all the rhetoric, I’m not sure I would be allowed in the country. As soon as your Homeland Security folks see me at the border in a robe with a long beard; can you imagine what would be going through their minds? And forget about bringing my Mother Mary with me, dressed in her flowing robe and veil that looks like a hijab.

Donald, I hope you know I listen in on you when you speak in front of religious groups and to be quiet honest, I’m concerned. I will give you props on the fact that you try and allay their fears by letting them know they deserve to have religious freedom. I actually agree with you on that one. Christians should have the right to worship as they choose. But so should Muslims, Jews and all others including non-believers.

Do me a favor; stop trying to fight my battles. I’m not worried if someone doesn't worship me. I want them to come to my loving arms at their own pace. Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” Remember, I ascended into heaven after sacrificing my life for mankind, you descended down an escalator to announce your desire to serve mankind. Trust me, I got this one covered.

If you really want to serve mankind, here’s an idea; give up what is the most important thing to you, M-O-N-E-Y, remember what I said about wealth? In case you don't, it’s in Matthew 19:21-26 and I quote “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. I tell you the truth… It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” I’m trying to make it easier for you to get in Donald. By the way Donald, there’s no walls in heaven, just a big beautiful golden door; of everyone I know (which is everyone) you would love it.

Donald J. Trump, and I know what the J. doesn't stand for; I would like to share a few commandments that my Dad gave to Moses. Before you read them, I want to make sure you realize these are actual commandments, not fake news. Oh and by the way they apply to you. You are not above the laws of America or God for that mater.

Thou shalt not steal” – You need to take a serious look at this before you continue with your tax cuts. You shouldn't be the opposite of Robin Hood by stealing from the poor and giving to the rich. And by the way I would keep a close eye on Steve Minuchin, I have a funny feeling about that guy and especially his wife. Speaking of wives...

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife.” I wasn’t going to include this, but then the Access Hollywood tapes happened. They even shocked me. When you talked about taking a married woman shopping and “moving in on her like a bitch.” Don't even get me started on, “grab them by the pu***.” And yes Donald it was your voice that said it. Billy Bush and I both heard it.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor” – I’m going to refer to the members of Congress as your neighbors. Donald, do you realize how many times you have violated this commandment? “Little” Marco, “Goofy” Elizabeth, “Crooked” Hillary, do I need to name any more? Here’s some sage advice. “Judge not and ye shall not be judged.”

A random thought. I know you really like your son in law Jared, but you do realize he owns a building with the address 666 5th Avenue? Not trying to make hay out of this, but it is a little freaky.

Donald, what I’m trying to say is stop worrying about “Making America Great Again.” Try and make “Donald Trump Great Again,” because the only true way to change the world, is to change yourself.

I will close with one of my favorite verses from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. By the way, it’s first Corinthians, not one or two Corinthians. I would really like you to try and live in these words and ask your loyal “base” and all voters to heed these words. The message is really quite simple and I promise you will get great results. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.”

Thanks for taking the time to read this Donald. Even though it’s difficult some days I love you unconditionally.

Peace out

Jesus
