Citizens United planned, staged, and financed this orgy of Republican rent-boys and whores (no disrespect intended to sex workers), who will now do literally anything to ensure payment from their secretive super-rich johns. For payment on delivery, the senators appropriately chose 2 on this Saturday morning to bend the even less fortunate over and anally rape them. Most shocking of all, while this monstrous national abuse upon abuse took place, many victims applauded and chuckled at the audacity of the Trump/Koch/Mnuchin orgy-masters. I won't even reach for an analogy involving the "trickle down" theory of economics, but attack it head on. It has never worked, it never takes into account unforeseeable crises, and when it fails, when the deficit grows, the politicians (now even more enslaved by the even richer) will get out their knives, cut big chunks out of social security and medicare, and call themselves patriots for continuing to finance the military. As a result, life will become even more miserable and insecure for the already miserable and insecure, and they’ll enlist so as to find some security even if it kills them. It seems inconceivable that even Republican politicians can be enjoying this. Is this really what they had in mind when they began their careers, this humiliating self-defeating servitude?
And every single word of the above is a complete waste of time and energy. The people who ought to see this won’t because Fox News and Brietbart are the media equivalent of a bag over the head, and no one has found a way to make the blind see and the deaf hear. I don't believe in God, but... for God's sake something must be done! An indictment, a "have you no shame" moment, or, probably most effective, a general strike.
