Ana Navarro: Donald Trump Is Claiming The Election Is Rigged To Avoid Blame For Defeat

“It’s a rigged system when a billionaire can pay no taxes and get away with it.”

CNN analyst and Republican strategist Ana Navarro said Donald Trump’s claims of a rigged election were nothing more than an excuse.

“He’s trying to set it up so that when he is a loser ― a word that I think he might be physically allergic to ― he can then blame it on somebody else,” she told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Monday. “But it’s very irresponsible and it’s reckless.”

Navarro then referred to her own personal history to blast the Republican presidential candidate’s complaints:

“I come from Nicaragua. I come from a country where the elections have been rigged, where there’s been communism. I know people who come from Cuba ― and you do too ― I know people who come from Venezuela. Those are rigged elections. Yesterday I was at Mt. Vernon, and it inspired me to remember and think what those Founding Fathers went through to set up this system. Is it a perfect system? No, it’s not. But stop calling it a rigged system so you can start setting up your alibi.”

Navarro demanded that if Trump has evidence of election fraud, he should show it. After further discussion, she went in for the knockout punch.

“I will tell you what’s rigged,” Navarro said. “It’s a rigged system when a billionaire can pay no taxes and get away with it.”
