Anderson Cooper Shows Us Why You Shouldn't Send A Writer Into A Haunted House

This Is Why Writers And Haunted Houses Don't Mix

Not even the scariest haunted house can scare a writer, Anderson Cooper discovered Tuesday night. Because once you've been a writer, you've already faced the scariest things in the world.

During Cooper's "Ridiculist," the CNN host showed video of one Tampa reporter who dared to enter the "Howl-O-Scream" haunted house in Florida.

The thing was, he went through the entire house without letting out a single scream. Not even that, he literally didn't flinch.

"Let's play a game called bury you alive," one terrifying monster whispered at one point.

"No, I can't do that, I've got stories to write," he replied calmly.

"The fact is," Cooper concluded, "once you've been a writer, you're just not scared by little things like being buried alive."
