Anderson Cooper, Seth Meyers Joke They Can't Help But Admire Donald Trump

If all else fails, Anderson Cooper could have a bright future as a Donald Trump impersonator.

In an appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Tuesday night, Cooper and the host laughed about their experiences with celebrity hotelier and GOP presidential candidate Trump and how fascinating they find the success of his campaign.

"I like interviewing him," Cooper told Meyers. "It’s rare that you talk to a politician who doesn’t come with a huge entourage, which ironically Trump does not. He just kind of shows up -- in the lobby of his own building admittedly ... And he, you know, says what’s on his mind, whether you agree with it or not. And he attacks you in the process which is always entertaining.”

The two also balked at Trump's apparent sleeping schedule, based on his late-night Twitter rants.

"She's a loser!" Cooper said in his best Trump accent, imitating the tweets he saw the candidate posting at 4 a.m. after last week's GOP debate. "She should hang out with Seth Meyers!"

Meyers has been on Trump's "loser" list since 2011 when the late night host roasted him at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner -- something Meyers takes pride in.

"He's definitely taken the edge off loser, because at some point you look at who he's called losers, and it's great company," he joked. "Like, oh my God, I didn't really think I'd accomplished that much."
