André 3000 & Mike Will Made It: Producer Posts Video Of Outkast Alum In The Studio

André 3000 Is BACK

André 3000 may be returning to the music business.

Prolific producer Mike Will Made It got the rumor mill stirring on Monday morning when he posted a video on Instagram of himself and André 3000 in a recording studio. The video (shown above) offers a shot of André in overalls in front of a keyboard before Mike Will demands that the cameras be turned off, panning to shaky footage of the rest of the studio.

While he has been featured on songs from the likes of Beyonce, T.I., and Young Jeezy in recent months, André 3000 hasn't recorded his own original material in years. The 38-year-old artist took an extended break from music after Outkast's last album "Idlewild." Born André Lauren Benjamin, André 3000 took the time to appear as a featured artist and to focus on his acting career, which includes a part playing Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic "All is By My Side."

While his fellow Outkast member Big Boi has been busy recording new music, André 3000 has yet to reunite musically with the rapper. The duo both appeared on a remix to Frank Ocean's song "Pink Matter," but stressed that it was not an Outkast reunion.

Big Boi has been vocal in the past about his desire to work with André again, but Three Stacks has kept quiet. "We talk and communicate and we still come to each other's homes, our kids play together," Big Boi told HuffPost Live earlier this year. "When you've been doing music for so long together, you don't have to be joined hip to hip. I know that's what the world wants to see right now, but we're just trying to do our own thing right now."
