Andrej Pejic Lands First Elle Cover (PHOTO)

2013 is his year. We just live in it.

2012 was definitely Andrej Pejic's year.

The 21-year old model reportedly started work on a reality show, modeled wedding gowns and posed wearing a hat that, well, let's just say you probably wouldn't want your grandma to see.

But 2013 might be even bigger for the androgynous model, as he landed the cover of January's issue of Elle Serbia. (Pejic is a part-Serbian native of Bosnia and Herzegovina who fled to Serbia during the Bosnian War.)

Pejic suits up in head-to-toe Jean Paul Gaultier and an Audrey Tatou-like black choppy wig for the cover, and inside, he plays the role of both male and female model who tussle with each other in some gorgeous suits and La Perla lingerie. We've seen this kind of shoot from Pejic before -- remember this? -- but this is the first time Pejic has dueled with himself.

With this new cover, Pejic joins the not-too-shabby ranks of David Beckham and Brad Pitt in being male Elle cover stars.

What can't he do? It's Andrej's year. We just live in it.
