Classmates Start Campaign To Get Friend With Cerebral Palsy On SportsCenter

Help This Teen With Cerebral Palsy Get On SportsCenter

Cerebral palsy keeps 16-year-old Andrew Honerkamp from playing sports -- he fills that gap by watching them on SportsCenter.

When the teen from St. Peters, Mo., mentioned to a friend that he'd like to see what it was like to be on the show, Andrew's classmates began a social media campaign they call, #AndrewOnSportsCenter, KSDK reported.

"We as a school and as a community want to make this dream come true," classmate Harrison Stephen told the station. "We won't be able to do it alone either. We are reaching out for help everywhere to make his dream happen because of how he has changed our lives."

So far, the Internet is doing its best to make Andrew's broadcasting dream a reality:
