Warning: "Walking Dead" spoilers below! There is no sanctuary!

According to Andrew Lincoln, the second half of "Walking Dead" Season 5 is going to get "radically different." The star, who plays Rick Grimes on the show, opened up to Entertainment Weekly about the show's return in a recent interview:

I think that people have to be prepared for it. We also go very dark and then something different happens in the story which I think is going to breathe incredible new life further down the road for the show.

Lincoln went on to say that he's "half-terrified, half-so-excited" to see the reaction to the new direction of the show, adding, "It’s f--king nuts!" The comments back up showrunner Scott Gimple, who previously teased the second half would have a "huge change" coming for the situations of the characters. "Walking Dead" star Josh McDermitt also told HuffPost Entertainment that the show is going to get "weird in a great way."

So just what is this big change? Does it have something to do with the fact that Lincoln shaved his beard? The good news for fans is that they won't need to wait long to find out. "Walking Dead" returns this Sunday to AMC.
