Angela Rye To Trump Supporter: 'I'm Going To Beyoncé You. Boy, Bye.'

💅

Political commentator Angela Rye made headlines last week when she delivered some epic eye rolls in response to a Trump supporter during a CNN segment. The moment quickly made her a fave on social media, but now there’s just one more reason to love Rye ― she uses Beyoncé lyrics to shut down disrespect.

During an intense debate on CNN Tuesday about President Barack Obama calling out Republicans for supporting Trump, Rye and former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski had a heated back-and-forth. Rye brought up Trump’s involvement in the Birther movement and accusations by the GOP candidate that the president was only admitted to Harvard because of affirmative action. Lewandowski’s response: “Did he ever release his transcripts or his admission to Harvard University?”

Rye countered by pointing out Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns (he’s the first major party nominee over four decades to not do it), which Lewandowski ignored, instead talking over her and repeatedly asking about Obama’s transcripts (as if that’s more relevant that Trump not revealing his returns).

After a while, Rye did what anyone would do in the situation ― she channeled the spirit of Queen Bey.

“Corey? Just a moment,” Rye said. “I’m going to Beyoncé you. Boy, bye. You are just so out of line right now. Tell your candidate to release his tax returns.”
