'Anger Management': Does Charlie's Dad Have Alzheimer's?

Charlie Sheen is back with the second season premiere of "Anger Management." As promised, he brought his dad, Martin Sheen, along for the fun. Now a regular member of the cast, the elder Sheen showed up in the second episode of the special hour-long premiere. But was he starting to slip?

Charlie worried that his dad might be developing Alzheimer's after Martin put his shoes in the refrigerator and tried to pee in the pantry. As the episode wore on, though, the truth came out. Martin had been carousing around with two different women at his own apartment complex and he'd gotten caught.

So he thought to fake Alzheimer's so his son would take him in. Instead, his son convinced the other two women to meet him and Martin at Martin's place. He'd promised to mediate a discussion, but instead left his father on his own when the angry women arrived.

It's all rather frivolous fun with "Anger Management" but that's good enough for some critics. CarterMatt wrote, "After ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and ‘Two and a Half Men,’ it’s the best destination on TV for easy-going comedy that you don’t have to think much about after it ends. Sometimes, it’s okay to just watch something and not really think about it."

That's good because there are 88 more episodes to go in the current order. "Anger Management" airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. EST on FX.
