Animal Collective's 'Honeycomb' And 'Gotham' Off Their Summer 7 Inch (AUDIO)

Animal Collective Goes Binary

You're hot and you're cold. You're yes and you're no. You're not, however, Katy Perry's fiance. You're two new tracks from Animal Collective, the band from Baltimore who likes to experiment with sound. The foursome released the digital versions of "Honeycomb" and "Gotham" today, and the songs are noisy complements to each other -- one happy, the other sad. You can guess which is which, and you'll probably be right (unless you loooove bats and hate honey).

The songs will release June 26 on a 7 inch likely produced by the band's Merriweather Post Pavillion partner, Ben H. Allen III. Stream them below, via the band's site.
