Anna Kendrick Is Ben Affleck's Co-Star From Hell In Aca-Awkward Interview

If you needed further proof that Anna Kendrick has the enough charm and then some to make anyone appear likable, than look no further this new promotional bit for “The Accountant.”

It’s a well-known fact that every celebrity low-key despises answering the same questions at every press junket, so Kendrick and co-star Ben Affleck decided to switch up and make each other miserable instead.

The interview essentially acts as Kendrick’s audition for a role in the one of Affleck’s superhero movies. The actress has already expressed her interest in bringing Squirrel Girl to the screen, a conflicting Marvel property, but that doesn’t stop her from dressing up as Batman sidekick Robin.

Affleck, in turn, reveals that he once dreamed of playing Kendrick’s role as the plucky college a capella star in “Pitch Perfect,” even singing a few bars of the “Cups” song. But, much like the reception to “Batman v Superman,” we can’t always get what we want.

“The Accountant” hits theaters Friday.
