Anna Wintour Shortens Milan Fashion Week Trip, Designers Panic

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has put Milan in a panic after announcing she'll be cutting short her fashion week visit, Telegraph UK reports. Wintour is slated to attend only three days of shows, from February 26 to 28, but the festivities run from February 24 to March 2. She changed the days of her trip due to Paris Fashion Week and the Oscars on March 7.

President of the Italian Fashion Chamber Mario Boselli isn't too happy about Wintour's updated plans.

"She wants designers to schedule their shows during these three days. It has bad consequences for many, many people involved in the shows, from stylists to models to hairdressers. It's absolutely crazy. She's welcome in Milan but if she only comes for a fleeting visit, perhaps it would be better is she stayed at home," he said.
