Anne Hathaway & Mindy Kaling May Collaborate On 'The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie'

Anne Hathaway Pairing With Mindy Kaling?

Blushing bride Anne Hathaway may have found her next role. The 29-year-old actress and new wife to actor Adam Shulman is attached to "The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie," a script co-written by Mindy Kaling.

Co-written by Kaling and Brent Forrester, the film follows the painfully insecure Lizzie, who isn't sure what to do when an aggressively attractive man starts pursuing her for the first time ever. News first broke about the "Lizzie Gillespie" script back in 2009, when Kaling was working with Forrester on "The Office."

Hathaway is slated to take the lead role, while THR speculates that Kaling herself will fill a supporting role. Hathaway's other upcoming releases include "Les Miserables," which is already garnering Oscar buzz, and a rumored role in "Robopocalypse."
