San Francisco 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin wasn't happy with how Sunday's loss to the Cardinals was officiated.

The 49ers lost the game 23-14 and fell to 1-2 for the season. Boldin was highly critical of how the referees called the game.

“For me, it’s been obvious the last two weeks: The amount of calls that have gone against us and the amount of calls that we’ve gotten hasn’t been close,” Boldin said, via The Sacramento Bee. “Every week, it’s the same thing – send the tape in, the NFL just reports back, ‘We made a mistake.’ But at the same time, the crap cost us another game. At some point, they need to be held accountable.”

Boldin can be angry all he wants about it. But good luck talking the NFL into making officials more accountable. If anything, the league office will reach out to Boldin and tell him he's contributing to its charitable efforts in the form of a fine.
