Here's a quick summary of Apple's latest news from September 9th, 2015.

There's a new iPad product in the iPad Pro; a new Apple TV product, and 2 new phones in the form of iPhone6s and iPhone6s Plus. I've summarised the key points of them all below.

You can watch a recording of the whole event here http://www.apple.com/apple-events/september-2015/

iPad Pro
A huge 12.9 inch screen.
Nearly twice as powerful as an iPad Air 2.
4 speaker sound system.
Accessories include Apple Pencil (a clever stylus) and a decent keyboard.

When available: November 2015
My opinion: Gunning for MS Surface sales. They even demonstrated the iPad Pro using MS Office.

Apple TV
Voice control (using Siri).
Touchpad remote control.
It's own new operating system (tvOS) so custom native Apps can be built by non-Apple developers.

When available: "coming soon"
My opinion: Apps and gaming are the strongest points. I'm not sure what advantages it gives over a Chromecast for just watching video content though.

iPhone6S and iPhone6+S
Much faster than 6 (their demo of a game really showed this).
Better camera (12MP main camera, 5MP front including using screen as a flash). Video can be recorded in 4K now too.
3D Touch. Can detect different pressure of touches on the screen. This means an additional push when tapping can behave like a mouse click. This will really change how we interact with our phone.
Stronger glass, better touch ID, and faster wifi.

When available: Pre-order 12th September. Available 25th September.
My opinion: Evolution not revolution just as I'd thought expected. The 3D touch functionality will make a big difference in how we use our phones and Apps though, and will become the norm for all touchscreen phones.
