The Apple Watch Might Really Be Coming: Bloomberg

Apple Is Serious About This Watch

If you don't currently wear a watch (because why would you?) you might soon have a change of heart. This Apple watch could really be happening.

Bloomberg reports that Apple has about 100 people working on a "smartwatch." This marks the third Apple watch report-rumor in a week.

Apple's isn't the only "smartwatch" on the way. Computerized wristwatches were one of the hot items shown off at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Simon Tian, an enterprising 18-year-old, and his team at Neptune have been working on a smartphone/watch combination that runs on Android software. The watch, called the Neptune Pine, is scheduled for release later this year.

But the Pebble might be the most hotly anticipated one that's in the works. Pebble connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and is available for preorder for $150.
