The trophy was developed in partnership with Snarkitecture, the Brooklyn-based collaborative art and architecture practice that's been involved with everything from pop-up shops to public art installations to choreographed performances. They're concerned with intersections as well, the spaces where they're most able to, in their own words, "make architecture perform the unexpected." That sentiment is echoed thoroughly throughout this design.
